The Last Hug

In our last rendezvous,
You embraced me, fondled me so dearly
that it brought a tear to me;
As if it were the last time!

And then you said "Honey, I have to go
For my family needs me more !
Guard yourself, because I wouldn't be there for you ever"
Leaving me shattered, and assuming me to thrive
Amidst your unfulfilled promises.

In the meadows, I now stroll  forsaken
Hoping you would hold my hand and walk along
The blue bird in the Oak tree that sang our 'love song'
Is now mute, because you are gone.

When they celebrate LOVE

I wish the journey is endless when we walk together ..

We met as two strangers

Who discussed nothing but work

And gradually we were fond of one another

and one fine day my world changes .

The moonlight is brighter than ever

The night is longer as never

We shall be each other's and together

Let our love blossom for ever.

When you look into my eyes

I feel like the queen of the skies

When you hold my hand,

I lose my identity like a thin strand.

Today as we celebrate our Love

All I want to say is "Thanks Dear !!"

Thanks for bearing my tantrums

Thanks for pampering me

Thanks for appeasing

Thanks for everything  !!!

A voice there says 'Hey! You didn't sleep yet'
And then she apprehends its the wee hours of the night already
Should she confess to him, you gimme sleepless nights
Or should she just hang up, 
Yet again he understands her silence and says 'You wanna say something ?'
She answers 'No just a wrong dial, Bye !!'
And then she hears 'If you aren't sleepy, can we chat ?'

She very casually replies 'Fine !'
He says 'ISR confirmed, of naming a star on you'
Elated by his choice, she questions haughtily 'May I know, Why did you do so ?'
I always wanted to be with you, 
to accompany you everywhere, to be a companion in your journey
and that's how much I need you !
Will you be with me always, just the way the star does ?

She very happily answers 'Yes, With you Always !'
